Role models to be reflected on by Girls Academy (Singleton Argus)
Students at Singleton Girls Academy will celebrate International Women’s Day with special guest, activities and morning tea on Friday March 8.
The Girls Academy is Australia’s leading provider of in-school programs for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander girls and works with 13 schools in New South Wales and on 45 school sites across Australia.
“International Women’s Day is a day where we reflect on all of the important women in our lives who have helped shape us as well as those all over the world that we admire. We welcome and encourage our guests on the day to share their stories and talk about the women in their lives to encourage and inspire the girls” explains Singleton Girls Academy Program Manager Renee MacDonald.
